Good morning all - Betsy here again to share another couple of cards I have made recently.
I'm rather fond of black and cream cards - think the colour combination is lovely.
The cameo silhouette is a Marianne die - so elegant. I can't remember the name of the papers as they are old ones from my CLEANED up stash. Yes, I have had a clean-out in my workroom!! I love the pins that are in vogue at the moment - actually I had a craze, many years ago, making beaded necklaces etc. The other day I undid them ALL, specifically for making pins.
I love the Sarah Kay stamps etc - this is a 3D image I found on my travels somewhere. I haven't any of the stamps yet, but maybe someday!! Another Marianne folder and Martha Stewart butterfly punch, also her edge punch. I was pleased how it turned out.
Must be on my way - off to Timaru to check up on what's going on at Artfull Crafts!
Happy crafting to you all, blessings on this lovely day,
Betsy.

Louise - Love Mini Album
Hi, Louise with you on this lovely sunny Monday morning to share a Mini Album that I made with some family photos made with a wooden KaiserCraft Album and MME "Love Me" papers and accessory sheet.
Before I started each individual page I selected the papers I wanted for the base of the pages, trimmed them to size and stuck them down with modge podge then sealed them with MP as well. Once the MP was dry I went around the edges of the album with Distress Crackle Paint "Picket Fence"
First up is the cover page. I cut a title on my Cricut with "Opposites Attract" cartridge and inked the edges of the letters with distress inkpad "antique linen" and painted the inside of the flower with the picket fence paint.
second page is embellished with bits of the accessory sheet and photos of my husband and daughter, Jodie.
Third page I cut some large shapes from one of the papers and stuck them around the edges of the page and again used the accessory sheet to embellish. Then added the photos of Connor, Anguus and Jodie.
And the last page which will eventually have a photo of our baby William and myself (when I decide that one is suitable) is yet again decorated with the accessory sheet.
I used VERY few supplies in this album but with some paint, ink and dimensional adhesive it came together really nicely. So a sweet way to make a relatively inexpensive album as a keepsake.

February Challenge Winners and a Card!
Hi Everyone - Lowri here to bring you the entries and winners of our February Challenge and to show you a card I made using the On the Move Collection from Kasiercraft
Birthday Card using Acetate
Here is an idea for using Acetate Sheets in your cards, and this Kaisercraft "On the Move" range was perfect for creating a card for a plane-mad 5 year old!
I have used a combination of the "Take-Off" paper and "Descent" acetate sheet to create the base of the card - which measures 5 inches square. I then used a combination of the Collectables, Stickers and Rubons to decorate the front of the card.
The stickers are ideal to both add a little decoration and hide the join between the paper and the acetate
I have more details and pictures on my blog here if you would like to see more.
February Challenge
We LOVED seeing all your entries and we will have a new Challenge for you posted early next week. If you sent more than one entry or picture, only one might be shown here - but they are all be loaded onto our Competition Gallery . PLEASE email me if I have made an error in acknowledging your work and I will rectify immediately!
and the winners are...
First Time Entry Winner - Tina McEwing
Tina told us about her project "It is probably best described as a double sided exploding book. This was made for a 50th birthday with lots of love and time put into it. It consists of 7 chapters of Sharon’s life, going from birth, childhood, 21st, nursing graduation, engagement, marriage, and current family life"
Challenge Winner - Brittany McGowan
Brittany told us "The Bonjour collection is fabulous! Perfect for what I was trying to accomplish, I had guidelines to go by (from the picture) but I wanted to try something a little different, so I changed the roof completely - I used lace instead of paper. The lace is just perfect for the house, it compliments everything - the colour is stunning - Mum said the lace was originally from my grandmothers kit, many years ago - so now I have a little history to go with this project"
We LOVE hearing a little about the projects you send us! CONGRATULATIONS ladies - please email us with our address details and we will be sending some goodies from the March Kaisercraft Collections as soon as they arrive!

Betsy - More Papers I Love
Goodmorning all. Betsy here today with another couple of cards I want to share with you all.
Lily Bee Design paper was used for this birthday card -I LOVE this range. Mind you, there isn't many I don't love! Oh dear!
This is called a Tab Card which I found on Cardmaking Magic's site. Thanks again Christina. It is very simple to make - spellbinders Labels 4 I used to cut the image out and Martha Stewart punch for the lovely border. Another one of my many LOVES!
Well, what about another anniversary card. We were at the evening last Saturday night to help celebrate this milestone. It was a lovely celebration.
Grand Labels 1, Prima flowers and bling, Spellbinders Grommet Tag die to cut the sentiment out and the Lovely Basic Grey, Little Black Dress range was used.
Altogether, it has been a wonderful LOVE, LOVE, LOVE month. I really have enjoyed the challenge - do hope all you ladies have done likewise and produced some entries for the CHALLENGE at Artfull Crafts. You could be a winner you know!
Well that's all, have a relaxing day, maybe crafting!!
With many blessings to you all,
Betsy.

Lisa with some Cosmo Cricket Love....
Hi Everyone. Lisa here. As we are focusing on LOVE this month I thought I would pull out some papers and bits & pieces that I love & see what I could come up with.
I love Cosmo Cricket, so I tend to buy bits & pieces of ranges then never get around to doing anything with them!
The range I have used today is 'Odds & Ends' which is probably a fave of mine. I have also used some paper from the 'Upcycle' range.
I got this cute frame that comes with it's own stand from Ikea. They are only $1.99(AUD) and are a great to decorate to become a feature. This particular one is for my craft room. it sits on my new shelving nicely :)
This is what the unpackaged frame looks like. It's basically a blank canvas to work with. Oh the ideas I have in my head for these frames! The frames have a clear plastic insert that slides out, you would normally sit your photo in here. I just glued my paper of choice to the insert & trimmed and sanded the edges.
Then it's time to decorate! I made a little banner/bunting & added inked chipboard alpha (from J.T. Laser cuts) to spell out the word...Love. I attached the banner to some string & some brads from my stash. I wanted to keep the decorating simple but stylish so a pretty doily & a red heart sparklet by Kaisercraft to finish it off.
The really fun thing about this frame is that it is double sided! So turn it around & decorate it as you please. I can turn it around depending on my mood...love it!
So, for this side of the frame I used the pretty floral paper from the range, added another doily, a shape cut using the Spellbinders Nestabilities die 'labels one'. A sweet journal tag cut from the paper pack. A sweet little chipboard bird & some buttons & string from my stash.
While I had the bits and pieces out I thought I'd have a play with a new die I recently purchased. It is so cute, it is made by Quickutz & they are little file folders. I think they make gorgeous little journalling or gift tags.
I cut the folders using a cream/buff card stock to make them look a little more like manilla folders. I inked the edges for definition then decorated away with some of my favourite things: twine, clips, mini pegs, bling, brads, dymo labels & tape.
I added some patterned paper as a base which could be attached to a gift, card or page etc.
The idea is to undo the clip or peg etc to reveal a little private note, arent they just the cutest things!
Thanks for your comments we really appreciate them.
Have a great day!

Sandy - Lily Bee Head Over Heels Layout
Sandy posting a Lily Bee layout today. The photo was taken at a child's birthday party where this poor baby tripped and fell. As she's being comforted by Mom and her tears dried, I captured this shot of them together. Once scrapped it was a much appreciated Valentine present for Mom.
Head over Heels has trendy chevron and doily patterns in a lovely turquoise which I used on this 8.5"x11" layout. To created some 'white' space, I added a tight blue check pattern and a subtle tone-on-tone pink damask. Some Bella paper lace trim was used enhanced the doily pattern. I appreciate the ease of peeling off the backing sheet and sticking on the trim, no time consuming sewing or gluing required.
This fluttering banner is also easy to create. Just peel off the little pennent stickers, arrange them in a swirling dance and add some stitching on top. Hope you are having a lovely February and don't forget to play along with our Love, Love, Love challenge.
Supplies : Lily Bee Head of Heels (Dreamy, Index Journaling Cards, Stickers), Bella Paper Lace White, Cosmo Cricket Upcycle Chipboard, MME Lost and Found Market Street "Lovely" (French Stripe, Buttons), Bella Boulevard Faimly Dymanix Quadrants

Lisa with some Cards using Kaisercrafts' Sweet Nothings range....
Hi Everyone. Lisa here. Today I have three cards to share using Kaisercrafts' "Sweet Nothings range". I really do LOVE this range - it is so beautiful.
Today I have used Kraft card stock as a base, which I cut in 3 strips 4 x 12.
This is a different size & shape of card than I usually work with, but its a great economical way to work with card stock as your base & it looks different too.
So you fold the 12 in strip in half so you end up with 3 cards that are 4x6 but the join is on the top rather than the side.
So here they are....sorry that the photos aren't fantastic, struggle for the right lighting at the moment.
Supplies used are Kraft Card stock; paper from the Sweet Nothings range & 6 1/2 inch paper pad; Rub - ons, Pieces from the Collectables; Sullivans flowers (glass); paper doily, ink, Martha Stewart punches, pearls, pins, ribbon & string.
Have you entered our Challenge yet? The theme for February is Love...you can find the details here.
Have a great day.

Betsy - Two more love themed cards
Goodmorning all - Betsy here today.
I know Valentines Day is behind us, but I thought I would show you a couple of cards I have made, for orders. As no doubt you will notice, they are both for the same couple.I have had about six orders for Careen and Mintie so I felt obliged to make the cards all different.
Now, I was so thrilled, during one of my blog searches, to find the templates for these cards on Sara Sandberg's site, and I did so enjoy making them.
This first one is called a Trellis Heart Card. The These Days collection from Kaisercraft was used and it's just beautiful. Mostly Prima flowers, although the gold one is a Kaisercraft. The 60 is a cake decoration and the congrats was cut out using the cuttlebug. Just love it!
This second one in real life, is amazing - thanks again to Sara. The same collection was used for this card. It is called a Triple Heart Easel card. The embellishments are mainly from the collectables in this range. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!! I'm sure Careen will as well. The cards both fold down to fit into a 6" envelope.
All from me today - off to Timaru to catch up on all Liz's excitement. Happy crafting and I hope you enjoy these cards and that they encourage you to try something different.
With blessings to you all.
Betsy.

Christine with Teresa Collins - Carolina Breeze Papers
Hi everyone Christine here with some more Ball Layouts to share.
Now the boy in the photo is the same (my son, Matt!) but he had his photos taken with 3 different gorgeous girls at the Ball! In the last 2 Layouts (seen here) he was with his Girlfriend at the time- but she went to the Ball as a partner for his best mate. Then in the first Lo today is the girl Matt took as his partner – she is an old friend and went to a different school! The last girl is the partner he took the previous year and they did swim training together and are good friends. Have no idea who she went to the Ball with! Confused?? Me too, but at least I got some lovely photos to scrap out of it all! (He doesn’t have a ‘Girlfriend’ at the moment just lots of girlfriends!)
Anyway here are the Layouts using Teresa Collins – Carolina Breeze 12x12 papers.
In this second Layout I haven’t used any of the yellow papers, have just used the black, white & grey and accented with a touch of pink to match Megan’s dress.
As I said last time I adored doing these Layouts – they had sat waiting to be scrapped, for 2 years, until I found these fabulous papers.
Supplies used: Teresa Collins – Carolina Breeze 12x12 papers and stickers.
Kaisercraft – Rhinestones, Wooden Flourish-Chandelier

Have a great day and happy crafting!

Sandy - Lily Bee Bon-Bon Boxes
Something sweet from Sandy today : little bon-bon boxes. If you are not a fan of reds and pinks for Valentine's Day, how about a tasteful grey scallop ?
The Courting paper from Lily Bee has a nice tight pattern that works for smaller size projects. One piece of 12"x12" paper will make two of these 2.5"x2.5"x2" boxes. The labels are simply strips cut from a journalling card.
Supplies : Lily Bee Head over Heels (Courting paper, Index Journalling cards), Vandoros Chloe Ruffled Ribbon Ivory, Fundamentals Ribbon Trims Moss

I'll be back later in the month with a layout using this collection. Until then Happy Valentine's Day !

Lowri - Valentine's Cards
Hi Everyone - Lowri here again with a few card ideas for Valentine's Day. I am not much of a card maker so these are quite the achievement for me!!
Echo Park Card
I made this cards using bits and pieces I had leftover from the Yours Truly Collection from Echo Park. I cut the cards out with my Spellbinders Postage Stamp Dies (LOVE THESE!) and used a couple of little Kaisercraft Keys Flourishes to decorate. ( I don't think are actually available yet so treat them as a Sneak Peak!!)

Cosmo Cricket Cards
A couple more Valentines Cards I made last year using the wonderful Circa 1934 Collection from Cosmo Cricket. This collection is one of my favourites and is so versatile. Here I have threaded the paper through the chipboard piece for a 3D effect.

Woven Ribbon Card
This was an experiment that turned out rather well! I am hoping to expand on this technique and will share it when I find an easy way to do it!
I took some ribbon and wove it into a piece about 4 inches square, used fabric mod podgeon the back to glue it all together and then when it was dry I cut out the heart shape.
These chipboard pieces are not actually letters but I was able to spell out the word "LOVE" with a bit of imagination and creative cutting!
I realize I have not given any directions as to how I did the weaving, but it was quite complicated and I would like to try it another couple of times before I explain how to do it! I am sure there are easier ways that the ones I tried - so hopefully I will come up with a tutorial in the future..
Please leave a comment with any questions
Lowri :-)
