Hi Everyone in Scrappyland...Robbi here

and I would like to show you some of the items I have been working on lately, among other things I have been playing with the new Prima Mixed Media Doll Stamps and I truly am in love. I can't wait till the little boy ones come out.....surely Prima wouldn't miss that market so hopefully sometime in the near future we might see some on our shelves.

If you have been following this latest craze then you will know that some of the Dolls have names and other just have numbers...not really sure why they haven't all been named (surely there could be a "Robbi" one somewhere) but today I am bringing you 4 of the 11 that are available.
I have used thick watercolour paper to create the base and then using good gluestick (not wet glue) then proceeded to add the patterned paper pieces where they were required, its amazing how the look can change by changing the dress paper or hair colour. once all stuck together I used sepia ink to take away any indiscretions that might have shown up.

PLEASE NOTE:- that some of these stamps are not showing as available in the shop, Juanita has a list of the ones available and has some more on pre-order for those of you that are interested please email her (or phone her at the shop) and tell her what number (or name) you would like and she will sort asap. Also available is the tag pad for the dolls and it is amazing as well - has 48 large tags I have used one of the card below.

I think this card above is the best one yet and I enjoyed creating her, I could not find any grey and black paper to save myself so out came the computer and printer and a whole lot of stripes were created then I stamped her legs, cut them out and "wella" I had my stripes for her leggings. I have also used one of the new texture stamps from Kaisercraft. These are amazing stamps and have so many possibilities! go check them out they are only $7.90 each and there's even Christmas ones

This card above was created as part of my last class down here in Dunedin, along with the layout using the Lorenna doll stamp (she has the ball gown). I do wish she had a name rather than a number 910143

I had a bit of fun with this card and even got to use some of the pretty "shabby rose"  trim from Papervine. The best thing about these wee dolls is that you can just use scraps of leftover papers and hey let's admit it we all have "I might need that one day" boxes. So now you can know that when those bits get carefully and lovingly put in the box they are going to get used. This doll is stamp number 910150

This little honey is very special as it reminds me of my new 1st Daughter in Law (in March 2014)
she is a real little party goer and loves getting dressed up, so I see a lot of use for this stamp in the future, once again no name but I might name her "Awesome". her number is 910167

This little lady is named (Yahoo! she has a name) Riley and I think she is a real wee honey.
She would look really neat with some leggings or knee high stripey socks, she looks really summery and I am looking forward to playing with her some more in the future. Her number is 910273
You will see I have also used the Layered Wings die from T!m Holtz and Sizzix. I have inked the edges,  layered them and then added stickles over the top, to make them pop a little.

NOTE:- Now Please all you "Card Makers" in the Artfull Craft extended family remember I am not a card maker... I am a scrapper, so these are only me playing at pretending being a cardmaker. I have the utmost respect for those of you that make cards as they are just so small lol and unfortunately I keep adding far to much, so please forgive me

as this will be my last blog post as part of the 2012/2013 Design Team for Artfull Crafts I would like to say that It has been an absolute pleasure working with so many talented Ladies both Scrappers, Cardmakers and OTP gurus over the past year. I have learnt a lot and hopefully maybe shared a little bit as well. The highlight so far has been going to SENZ as part of the team with Liz, Graham and the Girls and I loved every second of it. I especially loved meeting all the wonderful Ladies that came to my Exploding box and Door Album classes up there and I look forward to maybe returning to SENZ in the years that follow.

above are some of the layouts/canvases I have created over the past year.

Until next time
