Betsy here today to share a couple of cards, made for friends, for their golden wedding.
We had the privilege of sharing in the celebrations on Saturday night and what a lovely evening it was.



This one is made with my new Marianne Die  LR0180, which I love. As you can see, I have used it to make an easel card.






This card was made for the same couple, as an order - a centre step card and I have used  Memory Box dies 98402 and 98401. The Art Deco papers from Docrafts seem to go with the 50's theme.

Yet another lovely range from KaiserCraft! The unusual colour combination of peach and navy in Forget-Me-Not made working with this range a lot of fun.

I feel very blessed to have two wonderful parents who have been married for 40 years! They celebrated this great milestone with a quiet dinner with Graham and I a couple of weeks back - but this weekend is the BIG celebration. They have 50 friends from across the country (old and new) coming to celebrate with them.
I'm so excited to see everyone!

I gave them a beautiful album that I made at the Prima Roadshow a while back. It was such a lovely project that I hadn't wanted to put any photos in it - until now.


 I had snuck into Mum and Dad's house a while ago and taken photos of all the family photos that I wanted a record of :-) Then I printed them off and filled the album in about 10 minutes! They were thrilled with the lovely record of their wedding day and family portraits through the years.

I was also running a bit late and realised I hadn't made them a card! So in about 3 minutes I quickly put this one together. It's amazing what you can do with a few Prima Flowers!


I haven't finished yet though. I now want to create a photo board at the Dinner Celebrations. It's Tuesday today and I've got until Friday to have it done! Here's hoping I can come up with some creative ideas...

I'll do a post of the evening next week to remind us that, "Love is all around."

 Seeing as the theme for this month is romance, thought I would show you a card that I made for a couple who have been married for 70 years - now isn't that something to celebrate?  The stamp is from Mo Manning and I coloured it with my copics - I think it's so cute.

I so enjoyed making this card, as the couple are our close neighbours and we had a little get together to celebrate the occasion.
Hope you have enjoyed a little touch of romance. Remember the theme is " Love is all Around " and it is valentine month.

Hi Tracy here, who can believe it's February already? I have a lot of catching up to do in my craft room, but for now I managed to get this card made

Hi there - Christine here.
 Well its back to school this week after the holidays. So I thought it would be appropriate to  share the Layout and cards I have made using Kaisercraft's Class Act Collection.

This Layout is of my daughter ready for school! Yes it is a few years ago now that she was off to school!
Next are some cards - how about some Thankyou ones for the awesome Teachers!

 These 2 easel cards were made with the Kaisercraft square cards in Kraft - I just took 3 cards and with one of them I cut in half and then used each half as the front piece with one of the other cards as the easel. This made it a very simple easel card to make!
I stamped on the black card with versamark ink and then embossed with white embossing powder, this gives the effect of a Chalkboard look which has been popular lately. Here is a link to a tutorial on it from Betsy Veldman.

Betsy here today and good morning to everyone.

Well, here we are at the beginning of a New Year and what an exciting first week we have had, as far as work goes. Never dreamt in my wildest dreams  that I would ever be in front of a TV camera but that is exactly what we have been doing. At Artfull Crafts, on Wednesday, we had the crew there doing the promotional film for "Tell A Friend" campaign, as the shop was one of the finalists. Oh well, one never knows!!
Another exciting piece of news, is that I have been Guest Designer on Lowri McNab's blog, PaperVine
this week, and what a thrill it has been to read all the lovely comments.

Now, for a couple of cards I have done over the holiday period. It is always a pleasure to make cards for one's very good friends.



The die I have used on this card is Leane 007 n'45.8114. The square is part of the die which I cut out in brown card, layered it onto sage card, then cut out the flourish again in the natural card and slightly off set it.

I am rather fond of the Marianne Design dies ( as well as many others!!) and I have used LR0236 to cut this shape out, firstly the solid brown and then the lace one on top. It is so effective and of course one of my favourite colour combos.

Hi there, Christine here with some cards to show you using the Kaisercraft Marigold collection.

I used my new Silhouette Cameo to cut out the black silhouettes in the first two cards.
The third card I used a Spellbinders Shapeability - Fancy Lattice, cut out in black and then framed with Spellbinders Decorative Labels one.
I have enjoyed creating with the orange and green papers in this Marigold collection.
