Betsy arrived with a handfull of Miss Nelly cards. In fact, Betsy has been playing with this collection for about 2 months. Betsy was teaching for us at SENZ in Auckland in June, along with the Kaisercraft girls. While Melissa Kennedy and Al Hananh were with us they spotted all the wonderful Card Temptations kits that Besty designs for us monthly. It dawned on them that Betsy was incredibly talented and she was offered a "job" on the spot! (Betsy kept them waiting and final said "Yes"!). Betsy was sent Miss Nelly and Bonjour Collections from Kaiser and had a few days to come up with some cards that would go to America and be displayed at their stand at the CHA show!! (That's the same show where Mel broke her wrist after falling over a tote at Tim Holtz's stall!). We're so excited for her!
Anyway, as a thankyou to Betsy for all her hard work at SENZ we bought her a Grand Calibur Machine. And now she's creating even more amazing cards with it!! I'm beginning to think that I should buy one too. The Grand Calibur is created for Spellbinders dies - but it's bigger than the Cuttlebug. The dies are huge and so they create fabulous cards and albums.
So we have a few lots to share with you today. First up, here are the cards that Betsy created for our August Card Temptations kit - available today! These kits are based on the Miss Nelly paper pad from Kaisercraft and includes all the materials needed to create these beauties. We include an A4 colour sheet with all 6 cards displayed, any tutorials and templates required, and a list of extra dies and punches used. However, there are no step-by-step instructions. You'll have plenty of left-over materials to make extras too.
Now here are the cards that Betsy created for the CHA Kaisercraft stall:
And some pictures of the Kaiser Stand where Betsy's cards were on display:
And finally here are the cards that Betsy bought in today using the big Grand Calibur dies:
And just in case you thought Betsy has forgotten that this month's theme is about boys, then think again! She also created this fabulous Diorama Card. Read all about it on her blog: bestofbetsys@blogspot.co.nz . We've just opened up the Comments on her blog too - so anyone can now leave a message for her :-)
That's it for now. Enjoy the rest of your evening!
These cards are all GORGEOUS Betsy.
