Thinking of Spring, reminded me of a lovely verse found in Song of Songs, 2: 12.13, which is so indicative of this time of year. " Flowers appear on the earth, the season of singing is come... The fig tree forms its early fruit, the blossoming vines spread their fragrance..." It is such a lovely time of year!!
This is my first time for updating Artfullcraft's blog, as Liz has previously done it for me. So here goes - hope it all works!!
The papers used in this first card are from DCWV, Lemon Flower Stack. The colours in the stack remind one of Spring - delicious!! For cutting the border I used a Martha Stewart punch and for the label I used a Spellbinders labels die. The flourish was cut with a Cheery Lynne die which is lovely and delicate.Kaisercraft flowers I love, just using a little glimmermist to highlight them. The photo is one I found on the web.
This next card was made specifically for a friend, as an order. Oh! how I love my Grand Calibur!! It has been used to cut out this easel card and again I have used the Lemon Flower Stack from DCWV. Maybe you've guessed, by now, that I love these papers as well! My favourite doily die is the Cheery Lynn Italian die which I have used here. Other than that, the supplies used on this card are the same as the previous one.I hope the recipients enjoy getting this card as much as I enjoyed making it.
I'm sure you can all see Spring in it, as it is the theme for this month. Why don't you ladies have a go at the challenge - you could be a winner and it is all fun.
Thank you for checking this out - hope I haven't bored you all too much.
May you all experience God's blessings and the lovely weather.
Betsy.
