For CHA Winter 2012, all the Ruby Rock-It designers made banners to decorate a gazebo at the booth. This was mine using the Paper Boy collection which in blue, orange and red which is a really trendy colour combination right now.
Before it was packed up and shipped out, I tied it to one of the huge flame-of-the-forest trees in my neighbourhood and captured these photos. Each kraft-based pennant is a different size and design. You can find chipboards, letter stickers, felties, border trims and ribbons in the close-up shots
Staging the project outside was a bit a more work, from figuring out the angle of the light to fielding questions about it from passer-bys but I'm glad I made the effort because it really showed off the banner nicely.
I'll have an altered project that uses just two papers from this collection. Hope you'll come and check it out on my blog.
