Christmas is just around the corner and a perfect time to get started on Christmas Cards. What better way to make a convenient way to display cards than to have them hanging from the Christmas Tree?
This card was constructed using a single A4 piece of white card stock, scored and folded in half. From there, the card stock was adhered with temporary adhesive and was cut on a Slice 12x12 Glass Cutting mat using a circle cutting tool using a 5" circle. The perimeter was stamped with snowflakes in Tsukinkeo Memento Ink in Bahama Blue.
A second circle was cut from the Kaisercraft Mint Twist Paper Pad using a 4 1/16" circle and adhered in the middle.
"Merry Christmas" Greeting and Santa are from the Kaisercraft Mint Twist Collectables and are popped up on 3D Foam Adhesive Squares.
The packages that Santa is holding is from the Kaisercraft Mint Twist Acrylic Stamps, stamped in Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored in with Copic Markers in G07, R29, YG03 and a Clear Blender 0 to give depth. Santa's greeting is stamped and cut using Dienamics Say What Speechbubbles, and Hero Arts Christmas Messages.
The card is hanging from a festive Queen&Co Red and White Twine, and knotted inside the card fold.
The card can hang from hooks or pins, and can even be hung on the Christmas Tree or from the fireplace! Last year I gave hanging cards to all my family and close friends and they enjoyed being able to display the card with their ornaments.
