Hi Everyone
– Robbi here with a little “treat” I have been working on lately.
It is going
to have to be over 2 posts, with the final one revealing all!
Liz sent me
some amazing Kaiser Turtle Dove Collection papers and goodies and I must say the colours
remind me of old Christmas time (perhaps its an age thing!)
I wanted to
do something a little different with the 6 ½ in Paper Pad I received, so
thought lets make some tags with a little difference…but like I previously said
you will have to wait a little while to see what I have done with them….
All I will
say is it’s a game…Any ideas?
Gus and Pippa thought they might like to help me show you what I have been working on...
Here is the first lot of and they are totally random numbers:-
On these 2
tags I have used some Imaginarium Design Chipboard, and of course my favourite…a
selection of Tim Holtz’s goodies (in fact I use a lot of Tim’s goodies during
the whole process!). The Rosette Die and the Stencil Numbers along with the Memo
Pin are all his.
In these
next 2 tags, I have used once again the Stencil Numbers along with the
“On the Fence” die for Tag # 1 and I found an older style frame to use as a window for
Santa to peek through. I covered some areas of these with Liquid Applique to
make it look like snow. On Tag # 4 I have used lots of little pieces of paper
from the pad and one of the “Merry Christmas” tags.
On these next 2 tags I have used lots of different papers from the little pad. It is so versatile I must admit I was quite surprised at how many different elements it contained.
You might notice the words that are sideways on Tag # 5 are on acetate and from Collections Elements.
I love putting acetate on projects, as it adds a whole different dimension. Once again I have used the Tim Holtz Mini Rosette Die and some very old Maya Road Trinket Pins. On Tag # 24 I have distressed some little pieces of paper to make them look like tickets and have them held on with a paper clip.
On these next 2 tags, there are pieces from the die cuts included in the wee Kaiser Turtle Dove Pad and I have used them over both the tags.
I am loving the Christmas Tree on this tag. Liz included it in my goodie bag and I thought it worked really well with this simple tag. I covered some of the branches with Crystal Stickles to make it "pop" a little
and on the other tag I used some of the Baubles from the 12 x 12 sheet of Turtle Dove Bauble Paper and have held them onto the tag with wire.
Well ladies....That is 10 tags down another 14 to go but like I said earlier all will be revealed in the next week....If you would like to have a go at making these so you are ready to play then please pop over to the shop buy yourself a Turtle Dove Collection Pad, grab some tags either Luggage tags or 7 Gypsies ATC ones and start covering them. Make sure you cover the back of them at the same time using Kaiser Cardstock. I have used either Burgundy or Forest or Vanilla.
Thanks for checking out what I have for you and I look forward to bringing you the rest in the near future
Have a wonderful weekend
Happi Scrappin'
