Nichole - Kaisercraft Sweet Pea Cards

Hi there! Nichole here with two cards featuring Kaisercraft new Sweet Pea collection. This time I have two cards to share with you.

This cheerful line of papers, die cuts, and rub ons features pinks, reds, subtle blues and nudes all paired together for an innocent, fresh collection.  This cute collection features animals, birds, and a theme of friendship and love.

This free form message features floating cardstock stickers over a tag tyed off with a bit of Papervine Twine in pinkWhite gel pen defines the edges of this vellum piece with whimsical stitching.

Paper bloom in Honey from Kaisercraft gives the cardfront a touch of elegance in admist the whimsy.

The polka dots of this background paper from the 6x6 paper pad were a bit strong - so I toned them down with a sheet of Vellum paper to frame the message.

Owl Love You Always die cut from Sweet Pea collectables adorns the inside - as well as a rubon.  Rubons are an excellent way of adding flair to the inside of a card.  "Friends are easy to find, hard to let go, and impossible to forget!"

The next card is a bit more structured in its layout featuring a "scene" of floating clouds and bunting on an idyllic day.

Clouds were cut using Papertrey Ink Fluffy Clouds die and accented with Ranger Diamond Stickles, bunting is from Kaisercraft's Sweet Pea collectables. Awning border is a scalloped border from the coordinating Sweet Pea cardstock stickers.

Friends are Easy to find, Hard to let go of... sayings are from the same Sweet Pea coordinating cardstock sticker line from Kaisercraft.

Hand made pinwheels adorn the front tucked behind a ribbon banner - using some Kaisercraft textured cardstock. Papervine Twine in pink is tied at the bottom to balance the overall composition of the cardfront.

Two hand made pinwheels are tucked behind a ribbon shaped flag.  Cardstock is Kaisercraft's Watermelon and Seabreeze Weave from Kaisercraft.

Rubons are a great way to add decoration to the interior of any card or item without giving it unnecessary bulk!  Definitely worth a go if you haven't used rubons in a while or were scared of using them.

Thanks for looking!

- Nichole
