Hi it's Sandy with a bright and bold page inspired by fashion today. I'm scrapping about a Kenzo Padogon tote that my cousin loves and base the style of my layout on Missoni knitwear which combines geometric and florals in a kaleidoscope of colours. There is also a subtle sixties vibe that I try to replicate on my page through the selection of patterns and the use of retro fonts.
I frame the photo of the red bag with a series of Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm die-cut shapes to form a visual triangle. For my title, I use a lovely yellow journal card from that collection and hide my journaling on a tag tucked behind the subtitle. A set of mismatched panels in reds, pinks and deep purple on either side adds to that bohemian feel.
I didn't start out to scrap the June/July sketch challenge but it must have been bouncing around at the back of my mind because this turned out to be a close reflection of this month's sketch. Remember you have until 30 July to link up your challenge projects to the gallery for a chance to win Kaisercraft's new Blast Off range.
