Hi All,
Fiona here. We are into week four of the Christmas
Countdown, and Christmas is really not that far away. This week’s challenge is
Christmas gifts and I would like to share a Christmas Countdown Calendar I have
made.
Firstly I
brought a Spirax notebook from a stationary store, and cut it down. I then
removed the binding, and painted the edges of both covers, added a bit
of ribbon to tie and hold the calendar upright, and covered them with paper from
the Yuletide collection inside and outside of the cover.
I then cut
my pages from a fine cardboard, painted the edges with Kaisercraft GoldPaint, and then covered with various papers.
For the numbers I cut them out with my Cuttlebug. I have then decorated each larger page with papers, collectables and other embellishments as seen below.

To complete
the calendar I put it back together with the spiral binding and there you have an awesome
gift to give to that special someone.
Don't forget to load your photos of any gifts you make here for the Christmas Countdown, to be in with a chance to win.

A very clever countdown. I love taking an item and repurposing it.
