Hello, it's Melissa here and I'm here to share a couple of layouts I made with Kaisercrafts' Secret Garden collection, which is soft, pretty and feminine.
The first layout is of my youngest child playing in the garden. I took the photo to really focus on our lavenders with her sweet little pony-tailed self in the background. I generally struggle with using flowers, but on this one I felt compelled to make a little bouquet.
Here is a close up of the boquet, which I tied together with some ribbon and adhered with hot glue.
Of course no layout of mine is complete without ink or mist, in this case India ink splatters!
My second layout is for my informal wedding album featuring photos the guests took with disposable cameras. This photo is of my Mother-in-law with her Dad (who has now passed onto glory). Its such a beautiful photo and this collection was perfect.
I predominantly used the 6x6 papers which I die cut into circles with my Cuttlebug. The Collectable die cuts were perfect for embellishing.
I softened the photo with a doily, and layered a die cut over the photo for an easy title!
You can purchase the collection in the shop here.
Thanks for looking!
Melissa
Love your trademark splatters. Great idea to have the disposable cameras - would give you a view into the places you weren't at the wedding.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Lara! Yes I felt I had to be everywhere at once at the wedding, and smiling all the while! These photos are nearly 12 years old, and are so precious :)
