Valou - "Gift" with "Kaisercraft - Gingerbread Collection"
Hello my friends!
Valou today for the post of inspiration.
Christmas approaches in big step, the moment to begin my small Christmas presents.
This is a second box gift!
To realize it, I used papers "Kaisercrafts", collection " Gingerbread " and some paper "Kaisercrafts White Cardstock".
I used a file of cutting coming from the shop " The Cutting Cafe ".
I used an image of our sponsor, whom you can find.
For the decoration, I added small red strasses " Kaisercraft " for various sizes to represent Christmas baubles, wooden embellishment " Kaisecraft - Christmas baubles ", a white rose " Kaisercraft ", a small white and red rose and a white and brown flower " Lilidaft ". Flowers are covered with "Glitter Stickels Icicle".
I also added of the white and red lace then a bow which I realized with the ribbon " red Organza " and finally, a bow was realized with the silvery thread.
In the back, I added two die-cuts of the same collection " Gingerbread " as I stuck with the foam 3-d and a white and brown flower " Lilidaft ".
And here is for today!

Lisa - Paradiso layout
Hello, all! Lisa here with another layout to share-- this time it uses one of Kaisercraft's lovely new releases: Paradiso. This range is perfect for all your summer holiday pictures, as it features plenty of sunny beaches, sweetly-scented tropical flowers, calm water and endless blue skies. At this busy time of year, who doesn't dream of a little R&R on a balmy tropical island? :)
I used a piece of kraft cardstock for the base, and layered it with a selection of hand-torn papers from the collection: Sandy Toes, Excited, Relaxation and Sunsets. The papers all have a lovely retro/vintage look to them, with soft colours that go brilliantly together.
On the other side of the photograph, I used another couple of the Collectables and a little bit more bling.
A selection of flag banners in the top right corner (a mix of Collectables and some handcut pieces) to finish things off, and all done! This layout came together in about an hour, and was a lot of fun to make. I hope it provides you with some inspiration, and as always, thanks so much for looking! :)

I offset my photo a little to the bottom right, and then added embellishments in the form of flowers and leaves, as well as one of the groovy little doilies. These are great for adding a real handcrafted feel to a layout, and are especially handy for people like me who can't crochet to save themselves. ;) I also added a flower spray from the Collectables pack, and popped on a few bits of bling in the flower centres.

Melissa - Home Decor Christmas Gift
Good morning, Melissa here on this beautiful day down south! This week is all about Christmas gifts, so I made this home decor piece with a $5 frame that I purchased from The Warehouse. Sequins are so trendy in the crafting world right now, so I knew I wanted to feature them! Here is the frame in our lounge, amongst our other Christmas treasures:
The following photos show how I made it, step-by-step.
1. First up I selected a large wood veneer star, and covered it with gold glitter using Glossy Accents.
2. I just love this patterned paper from Heidi Swapp's Believe Collection called Pepermint Stix. I cut it to size, and then placed double sided adhesive around the edge.
3. In order to really make the sequins pop I needed to tone down the paper so I layered some vellum over the top. I made sure that the adhesive would be hidden inside the edge of the frame.
4. Being a bit of a perfectionist meant that I wasn't too keen on free-handing the sequins, so I made this tree template and traced around it with a pencil.
5. The final step was to glue the sequins down with Glossy Accents, making sure that I erased the pencil lines as I went up the tree. I used sequins from Teresa Collins.
And here is a close up of the finished frame. I contemplated adding a trunk, and a word with letter stickers like American Crafts Thickers, but I decided I love the simplicity of it just like this. I love how the gold sequins shimmer and shine!

Betsy - Christmas Gifts etc
Betsy here this morning and I'm afraid I have really slipped up on the Christmas Gifts.
Liz has had me SO busy and as one gets older, one hasn't the speed one used to have!!! Oh well, we're so thankful to be still here, enjoying another lovely Summer's day.
I have played with Tim Holtz's birdcage die and made this little lantern which does look rather gorgeous when it has the tea light going. The photograph does not do it justice, as you don't get the changing colours. Anyway, what's you're thoughts ladies.
This card is also another idea, with a tea light behind it, which lights it up. It really is just an easel card with vallum set into the front, so as the light can shine through. Again, looks better at night.
Now, some time ago Liz gave all the DT members a challenge, to see what we could come up with using Kaisercraft's Merry and Bright collection. We had to use certain elements in the pack, which I managed to do, and here is my contribution.
That's it today ladies. We had a fabulous day, on Saturday, at Artfull Crafts, it being the Christmas celebrations. What a lovely group of ladies and Liz had everything so well organized. Lots and lots of gifts seem to have be given out, as well as we had a live band for the Christmas carols. A great day altogether.
Remember all the fun going on at Artfull Crafts - Liz does love setting up challenges and there are also prizes to be won. Check them out.

Beck - Heidi Swapp Believe Gift ideas
Good Morning Good Morning!
Now, the other thing I made was a cutesy little gift bag, ideal for dressing up the contents of a box of scorched almonds, or your other favourite sweets...
Well, today is the day of the big Christmas event down at the shop. If you were lucky enough to have booked in and be attending, I am sure that you will have a blast! I was intending on going, but I now unexpectedly have my 3 year old nephew to look after, and I don't think he'd be much help!!! I'll try and pop in for a few minutes later.
Now, what have I been doing this week, I hear you say? I've been playing with the Heidi Swapp Believe range again this week. Such a lovely Christmas range. I LOVE it. I've been using the leftovers I had from cardmaking a couple of weeks ago, and having a play with the We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board and Gift Bag Punch Board.
Honestly, whoever designed these things is a genius. They are sheer brilliance! I made a little gift voucher book using the envelope punch board...
It has 5 envelopes held together like a mini-book using a concertina folded spine. You could put a different gift card in each envelope, or a cute little Christmas saying, or a nice message to the recipient in each one (like a little book of warm fuzzies!).
A few years back I remember my Aunt and Uncle bought my Grandparents some vouchers from different cafes around town for Christmas, so that they could have several trips out for coffee etc as a treat. What a brilliant idea for people who are hard to buy for, or who don't really NEED anything :) That's the sort of thing that this little gift book would be perfect for.
Now, the other thing I made was a cutesy little gift bag, ideal for dressing up the contents of a box of scorched almonds, or your other favourite sweets...
It's decorated with a wreath of fussy-cut poinsettia flowers, and some little hand cut leaves.
Cute huh? I thought so! You could use these as gifts for workmates or friends, or put names on them and use them as place settings at your Christmas table.
Now, not sure what you all got up to last night, but I spent the evening making Christmas cards with my son Jacob (he will be 10 next month). I was doing my thing, and he was doing his, without any help whatsoever from me. Here's what he came up with:
I am one very proud mama. This was all his own design, and he made it all by himself, without any help from me, using my leftovers and offcuts. Not a bad effort! He also made a couple of cards for his grandparents, using some of my older leftover Christmas papers and ribbons...
I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree! I LOVE that he shares my love for papercraft, being a boy there was always the chance that he wouldn't want to do this sort of thing with his Mum, so I am very lucky. Aside from this, we sometimes bake together too, which is nice. He gets plenty of 'man' time with Daddy, appreciating car and bike stuff.
Righto, I'd better go relieve J from toddler-sitting duties before the novelty wears off. I hope you all have a lovely weekend... bear in mind that there's only 18 sleeps till Christmas! Don't forget to check out the Christmas bargains at the shop, and be sure to enter the challenges:
