Hope you are having a great weekend. The sun is shining here in sunny Marlborough and I have a few bits and pieces to share today. We also have a fabulous Guest Designer featuring tomorrow. Her name is Corri Garza and she loves to stamp and use her Cricut machine - here is a sample of one of her fun cards.
Miss Nelly & Sparklets
I was looking at the Sparklets on-line and I realised that it's quite hard to see what they look like from the stock images on the website - so here is a better "real" picture. They really are fun and VERY sparkly!
I needed to make a bunch of flowers for someone special who is due to have an operation - so I thought it would be a perfect excuse to try them out along with the new Miss Nelly collection from Kaisercraft.
I have cut the flowers using my Cuttlebug and Tim Holtz die. The whole bunch took around 45 minutes to make and they look wonderful. Hopefully they will cheer the recipient up - I love the idea of giving flowers that last forever! The Sparklets look great in the centre of the flowers, and as they come in 12 colours you can find some to match any paper collection.
Velvet Ensemble Cards
Our theme/Challenge this month is "Let's Hear it for the BOYS!" and take a look at these gorgeous cards created by Betsy using the Velvet Ensemble Collection from Kaisercraft.
Cards using this collection would be perfect to make for Fathers day. There is a huge variety of elements and prints in this collection - take a look at this sticker sheet for some inspiration!
