Good day. Christine here posting a Fairyland frame with the new Fairy Dust collection. You can't get any girlier than this pretty fairy collection. If you love magical fairies, tiaras, butterflies, fleur de lis, purples & greens with lashings of silver foil, then this collection is for you.
Believe it or not this is the first fairy project I've ever done, & I went fairy all the way with this frame.
I've used the Geo Hex Wall Art beyond the page project by Kaisercraft & adhered different Fairy Dust papers on the top & under the little hexagons. This is available to purchase in the shop upon request. I had this vision of a fairyland with a long leafy vine so I added some Green Tara Satin Leaf Garland.
Of course there has to be flowers around the fairies, & on this frame I've added: I Am Roses Large White Paper Rose, Sage Paper Blooms & Amethyst Mini Paper Blooms both by Kaisercraft.
Some of the Fairy Dust papers have some lovely bokeh texture to them. I added some more texture with a few stamping, stenciling, adding beads & a variety of glimmer mists. The edges of the frames have been painted with Kaisercraft Metallic Silver Paint, & then inked with Distress Ink.
Some silver foiled butterflies from the specialty paper have been cut, layered & added to the frame for fluttering butterflies around the fairies. A sticker from the sticker sheet has been inserted inside the Kaiser Treasure Corked Bottle. Gotta add a bottle that spreads fairy dust on this frame!
The smallest fairy in this frame is from the Collectables & there's heaps of fairy sayings & inspiration from the Sticker Sheet & papers as well. I've added a Lilac Glitter Butterfly behind this tiny fairy to complete her look.
So what do you reckon? Let me know what you think or leave a comment if you've got any question/s.
I'd also like to announce the winners of the Christmas cards from last month. Thank you for your lovely comments, & the drawn names are: JUDY; JULENE MATTHEWS; YVONNE SAVAGE; APNZ55; & PINK LADY NZ. I might have added a few fun embellies in your envelopes as well ;-). Ladies, please email me your postal address at myscrapshack@outlook.co.nz. I'll send them all to you just before the middle of the month (As you're reading this post, I'm currently 12.5 hours away from NZ).
Do check out the Fairy Dust collection here. Thanks for dropping in & congrats again to the winners!
Cheers,
Christine S.
