Hi Everyone in Scrappyland...Robbi here

to bring you a couple of projects I have had the pleasure of working on lately.

We have had a bit of fun in our Family this last month and so scrapbooking has been on the back burner. Our Middle Son "Michael" married his longtime girlfriend "Sherie" and we had a very special week with them, Family Friends all leading up to the wedding and of course the week after. So yes it has been full on.

Anyway as you will suspect most of my layouts to come in the near future are going to be full of wedding photos, but I promise only for a little while and only when the papers suit......so with no further ado...

Have you had time to check out the new collection from Kaisercraft  -  Blubelle. the colours are amazing and I must admit I am liking it well so far anyway. I am loving the large spray of flowers from the sticker sheet and found it a very easy layout to put together. I have also used one of the new Prima Stencils as you will see in the Photos...so lets get to them

The blue in the  sheet of "Oxford" paper is amazing and really works well with other goodies from the collection for example the Collectables pack and the Sticker sheet.

Here is a closeup of the sticker I have used from the sheet and some of the other flowers and goodies I have managed to get on there as well. I have used some Muslin which I coloured using glimmermists ( lots of different pinks, blues, greens, and even orange). I have also used one of the Banners from the Tim Holtz Banner die and added the paper roses etc along it on top of the flower sticker.

This text area is from one of the new Prima Stencils it is the Floral Rose one and I used some Kaisercraft acrylic paints mixed together  for the layering. I do like the stencils althought you do have to be extrememly careful when using them so the paint doesn't smear all over the place under it....therefore using a credit card (use hubbies not yours!) and swiping it over works fine.

This is the top left corner banner piece, I have used the Tim Holtz magnetic Heart die and some scraps of the Blubelle paper, along once again with some of the Word Strips from the Quotes sticker sheet from the collection.

The other project I have had the pleasure of working on lately was this little beauty
Sherie allowed me to have one job for the wedding....(don't tell but I think I aced it lol)

I found a metal birdcage in a bitz and pieces shop here in Dunedin and since she wanted something for Guests to put gift cards in so I went to work and covered it in heaps of purple and cream flowers from every box and packet in my scrap room. I also used one of the dies from Cherry Lynn to create the large filigree butterfly and also used a smaller Cherry Lynn Butterfly die for the little ones. I used some of the Bo Bunny The Avenues paper to create the tag at the top to show people (Men!) how to open the lid and where the cards go in. The card on the bench -  saying that the birdcage was to house the gifts was totally created on
Pik Monkey Photo Editor ....I love this editing system it is so easy to use and create collages or just for cropping your photos and adding layers to them etc etc

Anyway thought I would share this with you and hopefully if your given a job in the future to be creative for a family or friends wedding you might remember this little cutie.
It definitely took some covering but did the job

This side shows the smaller butterflies and the pearl strand that has been wound round the flowers

Thank You for checking out my recent goodies and please do go to the Artfull Crafts Website or check out instore the Latest Collections from Kaiser - especially the Blubelle one

Until Next Time
Happi Scrappin' and Take Care
