Make-and-Take Friday...

Great Products!

This week's Card

I enjoy Thursday nights! I get to plan a free make-and-take for Friday. It's always lots of fun looking through the shop for products I haven't played with yet... This week I am posting the Make-and-Take before the event. I really just want an excuse to blog again! This week has been taken up with trailling a new auction management programme - so it wouldn't have made exciting reading.

Anyway this project involves creating a card using lots of glimmer mist, glimmer chips, glimmer screens (I love these - they are basically plastic stencils), flowers and Kaisercraft bling (pearl strips). I think the ladies will really enjoy this one. I'll light the fire in the morning, set up the tables and the ladies will arrive through the day to check out any new products, stock up and complete the make-and-take. That sounds like the perfect Friday before a long weekend...

HABIT FORMING!

Beyond the Page Project (photo from Kaisercraft)

I need to create a blogging habit. So here goes for Day 2! I am really, REALLY excited because I am going to Australia to visit KAISERCRAFT!! I am one of their biggest fans and I stock a LOT of their products (www.artfullcrafts.co.nz) with a whole lot more coming. You see, Kaisercraft put out the most amazing papers, projects and products and I love it all. Check them out here: www.kaisercraft.net

Better than that, they are having a party! They are celebrating their new 3-monthly releases, a new quarterly magazine and will be introducing the new design team. Graham and I have decided to throw caution to the wind and go! It's in 2 and a half weeks and we are going to have a tour of the factory too. How exciting! I hope I have more than 2 blog followers by then - because when I come back I am going to upload photos of all the fun!

How do I find more blog friends?!

FUN FUN FUN!

Thanks to Hilary's Art Space I have got myself a blog! She inspired me and then my husband did all the technical stuff! I started a scrapbooking and stamping business a year ago called Artfull Crafts and it's been getting busier and busier. I've almost retired from being a school relief teacher and I'm spending more time on the business. I have a shop in my house and it's exciting to see all the customers that keep coming. Make-and-Take Fridays are a hit and so much fun. I just have to keep coming up with great ideas every week... I also have extensive listings on Trade Me (artfullcrafts) and just this week I'm trialling and new auction management system so I don't have to live on the computer all day and night!

And then I have my website www.artfullcrafts.co.nz. I love my website - but we don't see each other enough - so I want to change that! My wonderful husband also helped me with that one... So here goes another adventure in the life of Liz Gregory. I'm not sure if I'll be a good blogger or not... I'm a bit slow to keep up with technological fashions - but I'm going to try. Now, how do I add photos?
