Valou - "My last DT's Creation"

Hello everybody!

Valou here for my last creation!

To realize this Home Decoration, I used a file of the shop "Snap Dragon Snippets". HERE

To realize this box-pound, I used of " white Bazzil Cardstock " and papers of the new collection " Graphic45 ", "Twas the Night Before Christmas". Papers are inked to the ink "Distress Walnut Stain".

I used a rubberstamp " Crafty Sentiments ", "Christmas Helper" whom you can find HERE.

I colorized it in the following way:

- Ink "Distress Tattered Rose" and "Distress Vintage Photo" for the skin.
- Ink "Distress Antique Linen" and "Distress Brushed Corduroy" for hair.
- Ink "Distress Festive Berries".
- Ink "Distress Fayded Jeans".
- Ink "Distress Mowed Lawn".
- Ink "Distress Pumice Stone".
- Ink "Distress Spun Sugar".

Then, I added one " red Poinsettia ", a flower white "Prima", a brown rose (20 mm) (WOC) and red berries (WOC).

I also stuck a die-cut " Happy Holidays " of the same collection " Graphic45 " and a small red Christmas bauble.

On the back face of this box, I stuck a white doily. Above, I added chipboards of the same collection " Graphic45 ".

Here we are! I hope that my realization has you more and that it will inspire you.

I thank you for your passage and wish you an excellent day! Bye bye! :-)

Fiona - Gift Boxes

Hi All, Fiona here. Well this is the last week of the Christmas Countdown Challenge. I would just like to say how much I have enjoyed sharing my projects with you over the Festive Season, and I would like to wish you all a safe and Merry Christmas.

For my last post, I would like to share these gift boxes I have made using the We R Memories Gift Box Punch. I have used the Kaisercraft Yuletide Collection to make and embellish these boxes along with some ribbon and gold trim.

I have used these gift boxes to hold a Christmas Decoration and Chocolates as a gift for my son's teachers. These boxes are so easy to make using this amazing tool and in the Artfull Crafts Store you will find others in the We R Memories range!!

Don' forget to upload any photo's of Tags, Wrapping Creations for this week's Christmas Challenge here for your chance to win a prize.

Once again Merry Christmas

Megan - The Art of Gift Wrapping

Hi Everyone :)

The month of December is quickly coming to an end and with it the last of the inspiration for all your gift giving from the DT.  I hope you've had as much fun looking each day as we have had in creating it all for you :)

Today I have a selection of things to share with you.
Sometimes when  I chose a gift for someone I want to go just that wee bit further, and instead of just wrapping paper and a bow I go all out and create a little bit of magic ;)  Just as much thought can go into the gift wrapping as in the purchasing/making of a gift, and I think it makes it just that wee bit more special.

First up is a selection of smaller gift boxes.  These were part of a Secret Santa I participated in - now I could have just wrapped everything but theres nothing like creating something for someone who you know will appreciate it :)  It doesn't have to be expensive either, the red container is just a plastic noodle box from one of the dollar stores, but they make awesome gift boxes all decorated and filled with goodies!

Ive die cut some flowers and used a small selection of the Collectables from Yuletide.  See those two vials on the side?  Reindeer glitter ;)

Punching strips of paper and adding pearls finishes off the sides of the noodle box perfectly.

A couple of pillow boxes are another quick and inexpensive way to wrap a gift - they're the perfect size for gift cards, cash, jewellery and of course scrapbook embellishments ;)

To decorate them I've used a selection of die cut flowers, Kaiser flowers, leaves and Collectables from the Yuletide collection.  The Pillow Box die is also the perfect size for a 6x6 pad!

This box originally contained a diffuser set.  I started re-purposing it by painting on Ranger Glue n Seal before painting all the edges of both the lid and the cover black.  That was followed by another coat of Glue n Seal, and then I could start decorating.
I decided to go with the whole doily thing, so that die cut piece of paper from the North Pole collection became my base, and then I started adding layers as I went.

To decorate Ive die cut some Tattered Poinsettias using the Tim Holtz die with white cardstock, using buttons for the centers, popping some ribbon, a collectable tag and some Prima flowers to finish it off.  Inside Ive popped some Christmas decorations and some doggy treats.

This is also my last post for December, I hope you've enjoyed what I have had to show you :) and thank you for all your comments.  Warm fuzzys are always appreciated :)
Don't forget to pop by the gallery and leave your entries, the work so far has been outstanding!!

Merry Christmas!!

Jessica - Gift Wrapping

Welcome to the final days of the Artfull Crafts Christmas Countdown! Can you believe it is only six sleeps until Christmas? It is sure getting exciting in my household, especially since we finished school two days ago!

As you would've seen during the week, this weeks challenge is gift wrapping and tags. I have a few gift wrapping ideas to share with you today.

Brown paper packages tied up with string ...

They were wrapped in brown paper packaging, tied with twine, embellished with patterned paper strips from the Kaisercraft North Pole collection, and then some matching mini baubles on some.

My next group of gifts were wrapped quite differently.

They were first wrapped in an old map, then a white doily, and tied with bakers twine (an added bonus for crafty people is they can reuse the elements of the packaging, as minimal adhesive is used when they're tied with twine). They are then embellished with flowers, paper blooms, leaves, metal leaves, mini binder clips, and any other beautiful Christmas things I could find - including a picture of Rudolph my five-year-old drew last week.

This is my last post for the Artfull Crafts Christmas Countdown DT. Please fell free to stop by my personal blog. And make sure to take advantage of this weeks specials, and to link up your challenge entries into the gallery.

Thanks for stopping by, and I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and festive season.
Jessica

Lisa - Christmas tags

Hello! Lisa here once again with a quick post featuring some Christmas tags I made recently.

The first selection are all made using the lovely North Pole range from Kaisercraft, which is one of my favourites this festive season. The light, bright colours and fresh designs suit our Southern Hemisphere Christmas perfectly, I think! :)

I've used basic plain manila tags, and covered them with a selection of papers cut to size. I added various embellishements (stickers from the sticker sheet, some Collectables, a little tree, a red paper flower and some bling) and then tied an assortment of ribbons through the tops of the tags. Quick and easy, and very cute!

The second bunch of tags are made using the same older Basic Grey range I used for one of the Christmas home decor projects in this post. I used a slightly smaller size of tag, and covered all but one of them in patterned paper, then fussy cut a mixture of the little deer from one of the sheets. I embellished a couple with bling, and left the others plain.

Again, some ribbon and natural twine through the tops of the tags finish them off. I really like how these ones turned out, and I have to admit that I'm very tempted to keep them for myself! Maybe I'll buy myself some craft supplies, wrap them up and pop the tags on the packages. ;) (I'm only half-kidding, haha!)

Thanks so much for looking, and don't forget to enter your Christmas projects in the contest here - there are some great prizes to be won!

Cheers,
 Lisa

Beverley - Week Six Tags and Wrapping

Hi Beverley here for my last post for the Christmas countdown. This time next week will be Christmas Eve! Today I am showing you some simple gift wrapping and tags using Kaisercrafts North Pole collection along with kraft tags, twine and paper lunch bags. This would be a great way to wrap CD's, DVD's and books.

I have used Homebrand paper bags and tied twine around a few times before tying a bow. On the one I added a doily before attaching the tag.  The tags are just using papers, collectables and other embellishments. There are so many ways to decorate the bags - stamp on them, create a multi media bag or just keep it simple.

Thank you so much for the lovely comments and I hope you all have a safe and Happy Christmas - All the best for 2015! Don't forget to have a go at the competition and load your entries here for a chance to win some prizes.

Christine B - DIY Christmas Card

Hi there Christine B here with a card I have made using Simple Stories DIY Christmas...

I have used Spellbinders 2011 Heirloom Ornaments to diecut the bauble, the bow is diecut using MFT Beautiful Bow Dienamics. I have embellished with the DIY Christmas stickers and especially like the clear black and white ones.

Next I have another Pocket page from last Christmas - this is the back part to this page here.

It uses Kaisercraft's Basecoat Collection.

Happy Creating!
