Sandy - Teresa Collins Everyday Moments Cards
Sandy with some cards using Teresa Collins' Everyday Moments. I love the smaller elements in the collection and decided to make my cards using mainly embellishments.
My first card uses elements from each of the colours (blue, yellow, grey) in the collection. The background is yellow, blue die-cuts form a focus cluster and silver dimensional items act as accents. Black is thrown in to give added depth overall.
On this next card grey dominates as I layer a series of large grey elements to take up most of the middle. Blue is used on the top and bottom to hold everything together while little touches of yellow are added as accents.
Finally a different colour story is achieved when I replace blue with orange and kraft elements from older Teresa Collins collections. This texture-filled card features metallic swallows, translucent acrylic flower and rustic jute threads.

Lowri - Carta Bella Projects
Hi Everyone - Lowri here today sharing some Carta Bella projects. These were all made with the Beautiful Moments Collection Kit found in the shop here.
All the papers and stickers are also sold individually so be sure to take a closer look - they are gorgeous!

Special Wedding Anniversary Card
I made this card for an elderly gentleman I have known for a couple of years. He and his wife just celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary and they have a wonderful story.
I created the "swing" style card using a file from Lori Whitlock and I just love how these papers are so complimentary.
This card looks great from the front and when pulled apart reveals a much larger sentiment.
The stickers are textured just like the paper and match perfectly
The wooden accent was cut from a wooden flourish from Kaisercraft. I painted it white and then embossed with a woodgrain stamp and white embossing powder.
Easy Notebook
To create this notebook I cut some copier paper into 10" x 8" strips and folded them in half to create pages 5" x 4"

I then wrapped the patterned paper round the folded sheets, punched holes in the center and using a thick needle, threaded some bakers twine for a super simple binding.
Simple Card
This card was also cut using my Cameo from this file and really could not be simpler. The sentiment says is all and cards like this are great to make before you pack away a collection so you can always have one on hand.

Christine - Bella, Vintage Chic Cards

These are a couple of cards I made using 'leftovers' from the Bella-Vintage Chic Kit that I made these Layouts from....
This Saturday 14 July I am taking a Class at Artfull Crafts at 1pm. This is in the afternoon of the Saturday Crop Day from 10am-10pm. We will be using these papers and making these layouts and with the leftovers we can make some cards! So will you join me? Details here.

2012 - 2013 Design Team Callout!!
It's THAT time of the year again! If you want to join the Artfull Crafts Design Team, then keep on reading!
We are looking for people who love to papercraft. Maybe you do layouts? Cards? Altered Items? BTP Projects? Maybe you do all of them and more - WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!
Artfull Crafts is a Timaru, NZ based papercraft store, with a leading website. The Design Team features on our blog and Facebook page, as well as getting great opportunities to feature on major manufacturers' blogs. We have a fun time as a team and invite local, national and international applicants.
We have been fortunate year after year to invite talented crafters to join our team for a year. It's always sad saying goodbye to people who have contributed so much to Artfull Crafts - but it's always exciting to offer the opportunity to others. Lowri - Check-In Travel Album
Hi Everyone
Lowri here to share a travel album using the Kaisercraft Check-In Collection and if you swing by my blog here - I am giving away the blank camera album and a bunch of Check-In goodies to!!
This album was created using the Kaisercraft Camera Album and their June Check-In Collection.
The pages of the album are blank all ready for the recipient to add some pictures and journaling notes from their trip
This collection has a lot of really cool embellishments and you can see the complete Collection on the Artfull Crafts website here.
Now onto the really cool parts of this collection - the acetate sheet and acetate shapes.
In the picture above I have layered a cut circle of acetate over the same size circle of paper for added dimension
In this picture (above) I used one of the small acetate pieces over the paper to form a frame for the stickers. They make a great, easy to use alternative to stamps too!

Lindsey - Favourite Colour
Hi - Lindsey here with a few layouts containing my favourite "colour" as per this month's theme. I thought about this for a long time. One minute I thought of one colour and then next minute another colour and later yet more colours popped into my head. I do have some colours that I prefer over others and I have to admit that I am not a huge fan of purple but, in the end, do you know what I decided?
My favourite colour for some years now has been "Basic Grey"!! Is that cheating? Probably. Regardless, I think I will share with you some Basic Grey layouts I made about a month or so ago from the "What's Up" range. Once I had the collection open on my desk, I couldn't be bothered to put it away again so made four in quick succession all from the same papers.

I just love the journalling on the "What Kind of Hug" layout. I actually found it on Pinterest and immediately knew which photo I would use and the papers which would suit. I love it when that happens. The photo is actually rather strange and I originally thought I would never be able to use it because it wasn't a good one and then, realising that it recorded a magical moment when Sophie was being swung around by her Daddy and just laughing helplessly, I just gave myself a stern telling off.
This second layout records the presence of The Hero Plate in Emily's household. It is awarded to the child or grown-up who has achieved something really good that day. It replaces "The Hero Cake" (a tradition my sister introduced). However, sometimes there isn't time to rustle up a Hero Cake when some excited little girlie comes home from school with a Hero Story - particularly when a gluten free hero cake is required. We heard about the Hero Plate idea from Ian Grant and it works really well and contains no calories! The "Hero of the Day" just gets to eat their regular meal off this plate.
The last layout is one I have just recently made for the Pre-Class Workshop for Nic Howard's "Dimensional Details". I have been waiting for this class (from Big Picture Classes) to be repeated for a couple of years and it's finally here. I can't tell you how excited I am. It's a twelve week workshop and is really reasonably priced. It's packed full of inspiration and the lovely thing is that there are no kits to purchase, you just use your stash and your local scrapbooking store. I can work at my own pace (slow!) and I can upload my efforts to the Gallery where I can see everybody else's layouts too. So much pure happiness in one spot! Christine - Beautiful Moments Cards
Hi there - Christine here with some Carta Bella-Beautiful Moments cards I have made.
Love this Beautiful Moments Collection that this new company, Carta Bella, has put out.
I have also used the new Kaisercraft -Miss Match- ingo cards and their Vintage - Cherish Stamp.
As well I have used my favourites - Bakers twine, Butterfly Punch, Brads and the TH Ticket die.
This month we are looking at favourite colours - I have 2! Red & Green. So today's cards have red on them. Love how the red is with the yellow.
I am now back from holiday after spending 3 weeks up in the lovely Golden Bay at the top of the South Island! Spent the time reading, walking & fishing! No crafting! So I am excited to be getting back into scrapping and card making.

Sandy - Indie Chic Layout
Hope you're enjoying our Favourite Colours challenge this month. I am having a great time designing with this theme. Today's layout continues with the colour palette I shared in last week's Remember 4ever project. Brown, yellow and red appear again while the grey is replaced with a muted green.
The Bouquet paper from MME's Indie Chic collection is dominant on the page containing three of the four colours in my palette. Brown is introduced through the inked alphas of my title and a Kaisercraft resin flower. To balance the floral cascade I used a series of red and yellow pattern blocks on the bottom. Since the photos were taken in New Zealand, a bold black and white chevron frame seemed appropriate as it mimics a traditional Maori motif.

Betsy - Kaiser's Retailers Day and Trip
Well, what an amazing few days we have had and a lot of fun. Liz is so much fun to be with and we shared the trip with another two lovely ladies who were also going to the big event, Jo and Sarah.
It was great to catch up with the many people I met last year, and to renew acquaintances.
The girls are planning our route for the following day's Scrapping Shop crawl!!
Liz looking her usual happy self - we are at Kaisercraft now, as no doubt you will see by the lay-outs.
Just to prove I really was there!!
This shows the factory where all the woodwork is done and the OTP products cut out. The machines are amazing.

This is Caroline who was the organiser for all the wonderful food - she is Stephen's wife and what an amazing team they make.
With Stephen Kaiser - he is just lovely.
At the end of a wonderful day with Mel and Christina - just had a lovely meal and looking the worse for wear!!
This was taken with our friends and Christina, the New Zealand rep, at the Kaisercraft office block entrance. It was a great trip altogether but so glad I don't have to go to work today!!

July Challenge - Favorite Colors!
Hi Everyone
We have no Centre-Stage this month as we are so busy with SENZ - but we have a fun Challenge lined up for you. We have not one but TWO fabulous sketches for inspiration (see below) as well as a gorgeous layout from Sandy to inspire us too. This month the Challenge is:
Sandy's Layout
To get a sense of moment I created a diagonal starting from the bird in the top left corner, through the gazes of girl and the doll in the photo, to the clock in the bottom right. Then used a visual triangle of three coral-coloured items to balance the diagonal. These are the foliage paper on top, the tab on the right and the resin flower in the girl's hair.
Sketch Inspiration
This month our inspirational sketches come from Sketches in Thyme. Find their blog here and Facebook page here. They have some really fabulous sketches and sketch designer Tiffany will be judging our Challenge too! I have selected 2 fun sketches here which will offer something for everyone. One simple and one a little more complex - we know you can create something fabulous with these!

Look at this gorgeous LO from Sandy and read about how she cleverly uses color to great effect.
"After shape, colour is the most important element in my projects. It
