Hi Everyone - Lowri here again to introduce the final new member of our Design Team - Christine Bonifacio.

Christine lives on a dairy farm in Temuka, NZ and has a grown up family. She's been a keen crafter for many years and enjoy both making cards and scrapbooking She loves using dies, embossing folders and stamps and she pays careful attention to the details on her creations.  Christine has her first blog post tomorrow too which is very exciting!


How were you introduced to scrapbooking?
Saw an Online store advertised on the Living Channel, so looked it up and from there I was able to discover this fabulous craft and awesome ideas on the web.

What inspires you for layouts, projects, cards? 
I used to buy every scrapbooking magazine I could find! But now I find inspiration from bloggers sharing their beautiful creations. So many amazing ideas and techniques out there.

What other project types do you like to work on besides scrapbook pages?
I love making cards which I give away as gifts and so I like to make something to put a set of cards in. I have made decorated tins, boxes and bags for my cards.

What is your favourite scrapbook brand and why?
It would have to be Kaisercraft as I like how they have put together their Collections - with paper, embellishments, rubons, stickers, letters stamps etc. It makes scrapbooking and cardmaking so much easier for me as everything co-ordinates – Love that!

What scrapbooking tools/products can you not do without? 
Love my Cuttlebug with embossing folders and Spellbinders dies! I now use an ATG gun for my cardmaking which makes it so much quicker. But I still like my green Tombow glue for scrapbooking.

What is your current favorite technique or embellishment?
Making various designs/shapes with punches

What do you hope to try or improve on this year?
To get back into more scrapbooking. Have layouts to do of my youngest son that I want to get done by his 21st which is next July!

What advice can you give to people just beginning to enjoy scrapbooking?
Use sketches to use as a base and build on from there.

Do you have a blog?
No I don’t have a blog (love to read them though!)

Altered notebook. I like to make lists and jot down things to do. So have made a special notebook for my ideas and projects I want to do in my new role as a Design Team Member for Artfull Crafts. I used leftover bits and pieces I had from the Hunt & Gather range I have been using.

Christening Layout This is one of my favourite layouts of my daughter and eldest son. I really like the photo arrangement and use it a lot when I have portrait photos to scrap.

After 5 Card Set I love to make sets of cards with a matching box and I found these papers lovely to work with, so elegant.

We've also given our old Design Team an Alumni Gallery. They still have access to load up their recent projects - so pop along there and check out their inspiration.

Finally we have the Competition Gallery down this hallway too. Here we load up all the entries you send us from the monthly blog challenges. They get updated at the end of each month and a winner is then selected.
