Hi, it's Sandy excited to share a mini-book inspired by the modern architecture of Arne Jacobsen. When I saw Teresa Collin's World Traveler collection, I knew it would work well for this project which celebrates the beautiful proportions and clean lines of Jacobsen's buildings.
I visited Denmark in my twenties and made a point of driving around the country to see Jacobsen's works. Not having brought along a camera, I don't have any photos of my trip. So it was great when I found Seier + Seier's Flickr gallery filled with great pictures tagged with a Creative Commons licence - granting freedom to adapt and make commerical use of them.
I used a 6.5"x4.5" accordian style book. It included a couple of 4.5"x3" pages which provided the opportunity to add some variety. Embellishments were kept to a minimum and the design is clean and simple to allow the photos to take center stage.
I'll be posting the rest of the mini-book on Wednesday together with some tips on incorporating journalling on your photos.
A great album! Love those papers too. I'm off to create a layout with that range :-)
