Vonni - Kaisercraft 'Sea Breeze' Cards

Today I'm sharing a couple of 'quick' cards that I've made using Kaisercrafts Sea Breeze collection.

Things were rather hectic around here on the school holidays. I managed to find 10 minutes to myself and threw these 2 cards together. I've used the Sea Breeze 6x6 Paper Pad and the Sea Breeze Collectables along with a few paper flowers and... done! Very simple and very pretty.

If you love teal / turquoise, then you will love using the Sea Breeze collection.

Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy the rest of your week.

Christine - Old Mac Layouts

Hi there - Christine here today with a couple of 12x12 layouts and pocket pages using Kaisercraft's Old Mac Collection...
I really like this collection and being a country girl it fits in well with my farm photos. These photos are from last Spring when I was busy feeding calves. I decided to photograph a day in my life! I document mainly in pocket pages, but like to make a couple of layouts to go in my album as well.
For these 2 LOs I have used kraft card with a black card border, then using the smaller print papers from the paper pad I have layered them under my photo. I used some of the Collectables to embellish.
For the pocket pages (sorry about the glare!) I made my own 3x4 cards using more of the paper pad papers and collectables. Love being able to do this and make them my own.
These pages will all go in my 2015 album of which I need to have a good catch up on! These pages are all finished, but I need to go and journal and embellish the rest. At least I have my photos printed!

Michelle - Kaisercraft Cottage Rose Collection

Here is my take on the Kaisercraft Cottage Rose collection. So pretty, and lovely fresh colours! I have used a number of the patterned papers and layered these distressing the edges. The base is a very light green Bazzill cardstock, and the pattern papers are the Crochet, the Garden and the Fragrant. I have also used some of the specialty embossed paper found in the collection pack, which I have used under the torn bits of the Fragrant paper. I have then used a matching pink and green ink rubbing over this embossed paper, which then highlights the embossed pattern.

Using smaller pieces of patterned paper (Quilt and Wallpaper) ,  distress these and layer underneath the photos. I cut up the row of roses from the sticker sheet and layered these between the collectables, flowers and charms.

Thank you for popping by. Enjoy your week - the weather has been nothing short of spectacular - how lucky are we - especially for this time of the year!

Betsy - April's Cottage Rose Cards

Good morning to all - Betsy here this morning to share a couple of cards made with the gorgeous Cottage Rose Collection from Kaisercraft. This range is for April and it is so lovely and delicate. So pleased that again Kaisercraft have delivered on their usual standard! I sure enjoyed working with it. A little secret ladies - I am using this collection for our cards on Wednesday morning at Artfull Crafts and I know you will enjoy them, as well.

A simple card for this one making full use of the collectables which come with the collection. The lovely apricot border was cut using an EK Sucess punch.

I do love this style of card - it is an easel card which I picked up the template for, some years ago. It is very pretty and always seem to get an A+. The frames are part of the collection.

Trusting you are all enjoying our lovely Autumn - we really are having some super days here in Geraldine. Thanks for taking the time to check this out and do keep an eye out for the SENZ classes which should be advertised in the very near future. It is creeping up on us ladies!

Happy crafting and many blessings,

Betsy.

Diane - Kaisercraft "Story Book" Layouts

Hi everyone. I loved this paper collection the minute I saw it. I have so many old photos and I'm slowly working my was through scrapbooking them. Kaisercraft "Story Book" seemed to be perfect paper for this and I wasn't wrong. I could have created so many layouts but have chosen three to show you.
The first I used small pieces of the paper to create blocks and used a larger for a title. I used Lindy's Stamp Gangs Magical "Steampunk Sepia" to give the varnish paper an old look.
My second page I used blue cardstock and mixed Lindy's Stamp Gang "Wake me up before you go gold" spray (don't you just love the colour names) with texture paste to create chevron look. I also sprayed the same colour and "Delphinium Turquoise' over the page. Randomly stamping as well.
Using an old credit card and primer I placed random lines over the page vertically and horizontally. I used strips of Story Book paper on the edge of the photos to try create a background for the photos. Then embellished with butterfly's, tickets, clocks etc.
For my last page I wanted to create a book look for an article about my Poppa.  There was a bit of fiddling around to get the article to the right size. I used Distress Ink to help make the photocopied article look old.
Again using clocks, buttons and die cuts from the Story Book collection to embellish.
I had fun creating these pages but most of all I loved remember the old days and the things my family have achieved. Thanks for reading and I hope I have inspired you to tell your story.

Christine - #Me Cards

Hi there - Christine here today with a couple of cards using Kaisercraft's # Me Collection....

We made these cards at Card class last week, both cards were dry embossed on their patterned paper before we layered up the flower clusters.
We made the flowers from the Cheery Lynn Gardenia flower die.

Betsy - Old Mac Cards

Hello all - Betsy here today to share some cards made with Kaisercraft's Old Mac Collection. It certainly has a farmyard fell - made me almost feel homesick, having been a farmer's wife for thirty years.

A very self explanatory 5 1/4" square card. I have distressed the edges, added twine, the chipboard fence and used the collectables in the packet. The image was retrieved of Pinterest.

The same size as the previous card and I have added some chipboard images which I picked up in Australia. The birdhouse and flower are actually buttons which I had in my stash.

I made a lever card for this one, a tutorial can be found on Splitcoaststampers, in their resource area. I have mostly used the collectables and again the picture was from Pinterest. What would we do without that site or I should say, what would I do with out that site!!

Do keep a check on here, as the SENZ classes are to be advertised shortly and at the moment we are busy preparing for them. All fun, I can assure you! Liz and Graham are away North just now but the girls are still busy attending to all things at the shop. Don't hesitate to call them for the excellent service they are renowned for.

Happy crafting and many blessings,

Betsy.

Michelle - Kaisercraft Story Book Collection

I love this Story Book Collection from Kaisercraft. The sentiments written on their stickers, Collectables and cut outs on their pages are perfect for creating lovely projects - all about memories and moments .....  one of them reads "the BEST things in life are the people we love the places we've been .... and the memories we made along the way" - how lovely is that? When I saw the book cover off the speciality paper aptly named book covers (foil)... I decided to create an album using this cover:

The spine of the album is cut from the same speciality foil paper - these are the strips which I then cut down and layered them down the spine - giving the look of a volume book. I have use black card stock to create the pages inside the book.

The inside of the pages has been decorated using the various papers from the Story Book range, as well the sticker sheet and the Collectables. Both the tags in these pages are free and can be taken out to add photos to them. The little envelope on the left picture and the clock feature on the right picture have only been taped in the corners so that a photo can be tucked in behind these.

I have ony adhered tape down the sides of the circle sticker and added talcum powder to the sticky part of the sticker so that it does not stick - a photo can then be added underneath to be matted onto the blue. I then created a flap on the right hand side that can be lifted up to add photos underneath.

Again some more feature flaps and tags ........

This is a really fun range ... and would rate this range as one of my favourites!

Michelle - Kaisercraft "Finders Keepers" Collection

A beautiful bright and fresh range - Kaisercraft Finders Keepers - I decided to do something a little different than my normal style and this is the result:

I cut a frame from chipboard and wrapped the Collectors piece of paper around this - this gave the photos great definition, mounted to the Floral Ticket specialty paper (I actually turned this once anti-clockwise). Using the Collectables and a piece cut from the left over of the Collectors paper,  layered these behind the photo and around it. I fussy cut the flowers from the Curio paper and added some flowers on top of this.

The next layout using the same Finders Keepers range is of my gorgeous niece.

Using a plain blue cardstock, I used a stencil and some ink and stenciled on the ruler effects in the background. I then stenciled on some gesso. Once this was dry I used some blue ink and sprayed the background as well. Using the cards and tickets off the back of the Admit One paper, a piece from the Collectable paper to mat my photo on, plus some stickers off the sticker sheet - to complete the layout.

Have a great week!

Vonni - Kaisercraft 'Story Book' Box

Hi. Vonni here today with a box I made using the Story Book collection by Kaisercraft. Some call it a hidden compartment box, but I'm calling this my 'Book Box'.

There are many tutorials online for making these boxes but I've used my Silhouette Cameo and a cut file by designer Lori Whitlock

The box itself was fairly easy to put together and including cutting time, it took around 30 minutes. As always, there are tutorials for Lori's 3D projects on YouTube.

Kaisercraft released their Story Book collection last month and I have been lucky enough to have a play. The papers are perfect for this project. The edges of my box look like real pages and a leathery spine from an old book.

The whole collection has a heritage feel to it and the Die Cut Collectables with this range are amazing. Little library cards, time pieces, quotes, I loved the little vintage typewriter.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by. You can find the Story Book collection available here. Have a great week.
