Sandy's Robot Projects

Some more projects with boy appeal from Sandy using Best Creation's Robot- a collection full of spaceships, robots and planets.

First up is the Rocket treat-holder, created as a tribute to all those inspiring NASA spaceshuttle missions. The happy little recipient spent a fun half hour in the garden attempting to launch it at the papayas in my garden.

Next is the Blast Off catch-all. I turned a staggered chipboard mini-album into this OTP project meant to be a temporary holder for a boy's things like school letters and party invitations. If you'd like to turn your album pages into an off-the-page project, here's the tutorial.

Tutorial :

  • Trace your chipboard shape onto pattern paper. Twice for each shape and cut out

  • Paint the edges of your chipboard

  • Make some 'V' tabs which will hold the chipboards together. Glue tabs to the sides of chipboard

  • Cover chipboard with pattern paper cut-outs. Glue up the tabs

  • On the longest chipboard piece, add a die-cut border to the bottom as a 'feet'

  • And there you have it - a completed catchall

  • Best Creation Robot Supplies : Best Creation Robot (Gearing Up, Alien Shuttle, Boys and Their Toys,Expression chipboard, Combo stickers, Element stickers, 6x6 glitter pad), Best Creation glitter dot paper BGP215, Clear Scraps Mini Album,
