Sandy's Toy Box Cards

Hello ! It's Sandy from sunny, little Singapore. I'm so happy to be on the Artfull Crafts design team. Since this month's theme is "Let's Hear it for the Boys", I created a pair of cards suitable for both big and little boys.

Most people use journalling cards for scrapbooking. But you can use them for cardmaking too. I managed to make two cards using just one piece of Crate Paper Accent Cuts paper. The only extra supplies needed are some trim stickers and fussy-cut flowers.

My tip is select a couple of journal cards with smaller patterns and a couple with larger ones. Layer them to show your favourite elements. For example, I covered up the "BIN" on the bingo card to leave an appropriately worded "GO" for my Adventurous card. Lastly add an organically-shaped item (like the little boy) to add a sense of movement to your cards.

Love for you to spot how many journal cards I used in this project.

Supplies : Crate Paper (Toy Box Accent Cuts, Portrait Accent Cuts and Border Stickers), Basic Grey Basics Trim Sticker
