Christine S. - Oh So Lovely

Hi there, how are you today? I hope you've had a great long weekend, & perhaps got some crafting done. Christine S. here posting a layout featuring the Oh So Lovely collection. No explanation needed for it, as the collection name says it all. Here it is:

It's such a pretty & oh so feminine collection! The die cut specialty gloss paper is a great base/background for framing your special photo, especially larger sized ones.

It comes with lots of pretty collectable pieces, & you can see the lovely bird, pink dragonfly & bird cage here. My favourite would have to be the leaves, as they're so real looking! Some touches of mixed media gave this layout some oomph.

I've added some brown & coral ribbon roses, along with some light pink paper blooms & white doilies. The layered papers behind the photo are gorgeously glossy, & they come from paper pad.

It's finished off with some metallic splatters. I really wanted to document this photo of my eldest daughter, as she'll only be this young for so long. In a few months she'll be going to Primary School. It feels just like yesterday when she was my little baby girl, cradled in my arms, & now look at her.
