Hi Everyone Bev here again. Today I am sharing two layouts using the Fly Free Collection by Kaisercraft. This is a quite bright collection which is great for girly or tropical photos.

My first layout is of my daughter - she had her afternoon nap and fell asleep with her stockings on her head! The Fly free collection was perfect for these photos because it matched the bright sheets on my daughters bed. The background has been created using a Heidi swapp mask and Colour Shine spray.
The word pretty is also by Heidi Swapp. The flowers used are by Petaloo.


 With my next layout I used various colour sprays that matched the collection to create my background. The drips were created by holding the paper vertically for a little while while the sprays were still wet. As you can see by adding the Frangipani flower this collection can definitely be used for your tropical getaway photos. Thinking a getaway would be rather nice while I am posting with thunder and lightning going on a dreary looking day!

Hi there! How are you today? Christine S. here sharing a couple of layouts featuring 2 different July Kaisercraft collections.  Let's start with a boy's layout created with the Little One collection.


My handsome nephew absolutely loves the color green, & it is crucial to add a big splash of this color to this fun page.  The base is a thick blue cardstock, which is topped with the adorable Jack paper.  I've added some texture paste through the Quarters template.  I then mixed some flouro green paint & TA Inchworm Chalkboard Mist, & splashed a good amount on top.  Some more splatters of various mists are then added.


I've cut out some cute elephants from the 6.5"x6.5" Paper Pad.  The papers behind the photo & a couple of die cut pieces are from the pad as well.


A blue twine is tied at the left, & a couple of stamping has been added to finish it all off.


I have not forgotten to add a journaling space to the right side, as I'm giving this layout to my sister in law.  I had fun creating this page & I hope she likes it as much as I do.  It is also inspired by our June/July Color Challenge:

Last but not the least is a girl's layout featuring the colorful Fly Free collection.  As soon as I saw these papers I instantly longed for lovely Spring days.  This page is a feast of blooming flowers surrounded with fluttering butterflies & colorful birds, around an unforgettable photo that will put a smile on one's face every time.


This is the very first time my daughters had a photo shoot together, which was Spring time 2 years ago.  My eldest had no problems at all smiling, posing & taking directions from the photographer.  My youngest one, on the other hand was not in the happiest mood, crying & not calming down.  Lucky I bought some biscuits with us so she nibbled away & finally calmed down.  We had to take a photo of them together while she eats the biscuit, as this was the only way.  Every time I removed it, she'd scream her lungs out.  What a day that was...very memorable indeed! At least we get to put her in the basket, & it looks so adorable.  Saved by the biscuit!


It is key to make the photo stand out in this busy layout, which is why I applied the paper tole technique to it with a twist.  I've simply developed 2 prints of the same picture, one in color & the other in black & white.  I've cut out my youngest one's image from the black & white print & adhered in on the colored print with foam adhesives.  It definitely makes you look at the photo twice.


The Friendship die cut specialty paper is layered on top of a black corrugated cardboard & provides the perfect backdrop for this Spring layout.  Two birds have been cut out from the specialty gloss paper & are added on top of the exact images at the bottom right with dimension, again going for the 3D/paper tole effect.

The other papers I've added here from the collection are Gal Pal, BF, & Sister.  A couple of statements from the sticker sheet, collectable pieces, & butterflies from the specialty gloss paper are added as well.  It's all finished off with some flower & leaf clusters, splatters for a touch of shimmer & journaling.

Hi there - ChristineB here today with a Layout and Pocket Page using the lovely Botanica Collection from Kaisercraft....
 I loved working with this collection and it was perfect to scrap my photos that I took from picking elderflowers last November to make cordial.
Here is a little close up of a grouping of embellishments.

This is the pocket page that goes with the Layout. I like to do both when there are a few photos to scrap. The cordial is delicious, by the way, when you add soda water to it - makes a very refreshing drink.

I predominantly used the 6x6 papers which I die cut into circles with my Cuttlebug.  The Collectable die cuts were perfect for embellishing.


I softened the photo with a doily, and layered a die cut over the photo for an easy title!

Hi everyone Bev here today sharing not one but two layouts using the Botanica Collection by Kaisercraft.  This is a lovely collection of yellow, greens and a touch of lilac. It would be great to use for photos of places like Botanical Gardens.

My first layout is a boy layout which I have not used a lot of the collection but it does show its versatility. With my background I have used a memory box sunray stencil and texture paste along with green and gold colour sprays.  I have also stamped a prima texture stamp randomly using brown ink.  I have used a chevron punch both the positive and negative of the punch.  The bench is a Dusty Attic chipboard piece that is been in my stash for years! I have fussy cut some of the leaves of one of the papers and used some collectables from the collection too.


My next layout is a more girly one with my daughter featuring on it. This is using the softer colours in the collection and is quite different to the previous layout.  My background has been created using a feather stencil from the Crafters Workshop and a colour spray which I have also done a splatter effect.  The paper embellishments are the collectables in the Botanica collection. Also used on this layout are Prima fairies, a Prima mushroom , Prima fairy fabric tape and some wood veneers aong with flowers, a doily and some bling.

Good morning! Lisa here once more, and this time I have a couple of layouts to share that I have made using one of my recent favourite Kaisercraft releases: the lovely Botanica range. I absolutely adore this-- shades of soft greens and naturals, with lots of subtle nature-inspired patterns and designs. I had a blast working with this!



My first layout has a kraft cardstock base-- I love how it sets off all the other colours I've used. On top of that, I have layered two designs of patterned paper from the small paper pad, along with a diecut border from the same pad. My simple black and white photo goes on top, along with an assorted selection of embellishments-- some of the collectables, along with various other bits and pieces from my stash, including some touches of gold, which goes remarkably well with this collection.

My second layout is on a base of white cardstock, which I splattered with some black Indian ink. Once that dried, I chose three patterned papers and arranged them together, hand-tearing the very top and bottom pieces to get an uneven border line. (I really like this effect, and it's so very easy to do.)

I cut around my photo by hand (a picture of me at around 3 or 4 years old) and attached it, adding a cluster of embellishments on the right: some collectables, a lace doily, a couple of wooden veneer pieces, a kraft tag, and a few other goodies from my stash to finish everything off.

Both these layouts are amongst my favourites I have made, and the Botanica range is so much fun to work with. You can find it in the shop here.

Hi there, how's your week going? Christine S. here, trying to keep myself warm from the cold & not so dry winter weather we're having lately.  Today I'm posting a layout with Kaisercraft's Fly Free collection.  It's a colorful & happy collection, with pink, teal & lime birds & butterflies. 


It is inspired by our June/July Sketch Challenge (courtesy of Sketches in Thyme):


I had fun creating this page, & it puts a big smile on my face every time I look at it :)


The strip of leaf came from the sticker sheet, & the butterflies & bird are from the collectables & the specialty gloss paper.


The colored doilies matches perfectly with the bright colors of the Fly Free collection.  The Kaisercraft Wooden Letter Squares makes a great title (or sentiment), & the Mini Paper Blooms can be bought at the shop as well.

Hi Bev here again hope your week is going well. Today I am sharing my last layout created using the Into The Wild by Kaisercraft .

This time I have used Kraft cardstock as my background and srayed Heidi Swapp Bronze and black Colour shine to the background. I then layered various papers in the collection. Other items from the collection that have been used are the collectables and the stickers. Finishing touches are leaves, flowers , Thickers hessian alphabet and a mesh ribbon.

I'm a bit late to the party with my reinvention of the toilet roll ;) but this month and next month the theme is "Anything Goes" so I reckon you can still get creating with them!


Ive turned my toilet roll into a steampunk spool!  And Ive used bits and bobs from my DT kit as well as things I had lying round in my stash for ages and wondered what on earth I was going to do with them!


Ive used the paper pad to decorate the spool itself and randomly stamped around the edges in black Archival ink.


The large orangey cog was a die cut in my kit which Ive inked with Tim Holtz Distress Stain - Brushed Corduroy and Fired Brick, and then inked around the edges in Pinecone.
Everything has been adhered with Helmar 450 and foam tape used to give depth between the layers.

For my card I got a bit messy, unusual for me because I really don't do messy - just ask my mother lol.  To create the background Ive distressed the leftover scraps of paper from the spool, and used BoBunny Glimmer Sprays to make a splatter effect, before randomly stamping.


The central cluster is just a mixture of cogs, tags and sequins.  Simple but looks effective!

Hi there, Christine S. here.  Today I'm posting a mini album featuring Kaisercraft's new baby collection named Little One.  It's a good mix of brights & pastels, & is filled with adorable owls, hot air balloons, which are all simply adorable.  Perfect for all your baby projects!  Here's the cover:


I've used the Small Polaroid Album & 6.5"x6.5" Little One paper pad throughout.  It's one of the fun & easiest beyond the page projects to work with.


The letters & owls were cut out from different sheets of the paper pad.  How cute are those owls & light pink ruffled flower?

On this page I've added some twine (which can be seen on the front cover as well) & orange Artfull Embellies Wooden Peg.


I've also cut out some hot air balloons from the pad & added them on some pages.  As always, there's a few die cut pieces from the pad that are great for journaling.



An assortment of wood veneers, clear word stickers, stamping, Artfull wooden buttons, rhinestones & itty bitty paper blooms were added throughout the pages as well.

I have journalled how at 6 months she was learning & exploring non-stop...sitting up while picking things up, teething & putting everything in her mouth, crawling quickly especially under the dining table.  A memorable month indeed!


The album is finished off by adding a couple of ribbons on a ring.  The pad comes with sheets of blue & green elephant prints & more as well for baby boy projects.
