New Design Team Announcement!

It is with great delight that we announce the new Artfull Crafts Design Team for another year! We hope you love the variety of styles and projects that they will produce for you this year. For the next 10 days we are going to be hearing from each of the Design Team and each day there will be giveaways! So keep popping back here each day from tomorrow until the end of August. Miss a day, Miss a LOT!

WIN THIS PAPER PAD!
Leave a comment of congratulations on this post by Tuesday lunchtime and we'll put you in the draw to win a Save the Date 6x6 Paper Pad from Kaisercraft to celebrate!

Firstly we introduce you to the Design Team Co-Ordinator...

LOWRI MCNABB
Lowri has been running our Design Team since 2010 and also looks after the Marketing at Artfull Crafts. She is a busy mother to three small children and lives on a vineyard in Blenheim, NZ. She enjoys many types of papercrafting and loves making BTP projects, mini albums and other gifts to give away.

Lowri has a clean style of crafting and is currently on the In-House Design Team for Echo Park Paper and regularly contributes to top crafting blogs. In 2012 she has already been asked to design for Kaisercraft, Cosmo Cricket, Making Memorioes, Pink Paislee and Ruby Rock-It.

You will get to know them well over the next year as she loves taking photos and scrapping them. She have been on the Kaisercraft design team for the last 2 years which has kept her very busy inbetween her real jobs of being a mum and doing accounting work from home. We're excited to welcome Vicki to the Artfull Crafts Teams.

Teresa has been crafting since she was a teenager, and her journey has taken her from calligraphy to cardmaking to stamping, scrapping and bookmaking. She's am currently on a few design teams including Darkroom Door Stamps and DownUnder Direct (an Australian wholesaler).  Teresa taught some Copic classes at Artfull Crafts last year and we look forward to her contribution to the team.

You will see a lot of these guys over the next year as they are her main focus for scrapping. She has been scrapping for about the last 8 years and loves every minute of it.

Robbi has been on other DT's and has worked in a local scrapbook shop. She's kept in close contact with a lot of the ladies she's met over the years and currently teaches classes in the lower South Island. Robbi loves flowers and has a beautiful eye for detail. Her work is exquisite and we're looking forward to a year of creativity with Robbi.

NICHOLE PARKER
Nichole is originally from the US, and moved to NZ about 5 years ago to be with her Kiwi partner. She started making cards so she could send them to my family and soon she got hooked! She loves paper and stamps and all the unique and fun designs that manufacturers come up with. Although Nichole is primarily a card-maker, she also enjoys altered objects and d├ęcor items too.

Her “day job” is in IT support and shes loves incorporating gadgets and blogging into the crafting mix. Her blog is an interesting mix of projects and product reviews and we're excited to welcome her on board.

JO JOHNSON
Jo lives in Morrinsville NZ and has experience as a craft store owner, a photographer and an ex caterer - so her hands are always busy!  Her and her husband have two daughters - Aly is 22, and Samantha is 18.

Jo is going to be on off-the-page specialist for us this year - showing us how to create masterpieces for your, your friends and family. She crafts everyday and loves colour, texture, and smell and is really looking forward to getting her hands on new products, new off the page ideas, new colours, and getting to know everyone else on the team. We welcome Jo!

MISS BESTY
Betsy Clark lives in Geraldine, NZ with her husband. She has grown-up children and enjoys being a grandmother. She's a respected member of the South Canterbury community - involved in her local church and in teaching craft classes. Artfull Crafts is fortunate to work closely with Betsy as she just lives "up the road". She's got her own local fan club too!

Betsy's cards are exquisite and much-admired. She is published monthly in the Kaisercraft Workshop magazine (under the name Miss Betsy!)  and she generously puts her cards on display in the Artfull Crafts Store. She loves using Martha Stewart Punches, Spellbinders, Magnolia stamps and enjoys searching the Internet for the newest products.

SANDY ANG

She's a cardmaker, scrapper and off-the-page project creator. She loves playing with lines and shapes in her design and her style varies depending on the supplies she's working with. It ranges from classic to quirky and eclectic. Sandy approaches each project as an avenue for creative expression and as an exciting opportunity to try something new.

Sandy currently designs for Australian manufacturer Ruby Rock-It and US Kit Club Citrus Twist.

She loves to check out the blogs and is always interested in the new items that come to the market.

Luckily for us, Christine lives locally - and so we enjoy working closely with her with classes, crops and more!
