Sandy - Origami Wreath Tutorial

Hi today Sandy is posting. My origami  wreath is made up of 12 interlocking units. It's based on Mette Pederson's modular folding technique. I used 12 pieces of 6"x6" paper for mine which measures 6" in diameter. If you vary the paper size, you can get a larger or smaller wreath.  It's a great way to use up scraps from your old or new Christmas collections.

Tutorial :

  • Draw these lines on your 6"x6" paper and valley fold along them
  • Fold according to these steps.
  • Make 12 units
  • Insert the tab of one unit into the pocket of the other to form the wreath
Supplies : Best Creation Element Sticker, gcd studios Christmas Sleigh papers, Maple Treehouse ribbon

  6. How do you adjust the measurements for a larger wreath? Start with 8x8 or 10x10, maybe even 12x12 paper.
